Unfortunately, bullying is very common among schoolchildren. It is difficult as a child to deal with the bullying. Children who are being bullied can become very insecure about themselves and often develop a negative self-image. They start to believe what the bully tells them. Insecurity, feelings of inferiority or even depression are lurking around. In addition, these children sometimes no longer dare to go to school and meet up with their friends less often. As a result, bullied children can become more and more isolated.
At the Kinderpraktijk, children who are bullied learn how to deal with their situation in the best possible way. A number of training courses are available, together with the parents we will select the most suitable training that fits the child best. Whether it concerns negative self-image, standing up for yourself or tackling negative thinking.
Depending on the severity of the problem, therapy for bullying is not always reimbursed. The practitioner, together with the parents, assesses whether reimbursement will be provided by the municipality.
