Marianne Heijligers

Marianne studied developmental and clinical psychology at the Rijks University Leiden. She also completed a postgraduate education to become a Child & Youth psychologist.
Marianne is a mom of two girls (2007 and 2010).
Experience
Marianne has had her own practice in Dordrecht since 2001: Kinderpraktijk Heijligers & Treep. She also worked as a behavioural expert in an institution for children and teenagers with a slight mental disability and additional behavioural problems in Rotterdam.
Specialization
Besides doing diagnostisc research, Marianne is also specialized in the (cognitive behavioural) treatment of anxiety, compulsion and tics. Treatment for (suspicion of) sexual abuse, grief, trauma and attachment problems are also part of her specializations.
Registrations
Marianne is registered as member of the trade association NIP. She is also registered at the SKJ.
Marianne is a registered grief- and loss counsellor with the LSR.
